I was inspired by Lirka Matoshi's Strawberry dress to make this piece. I really liked the surreal feel of her dress, but I wanted something more appropriate for my favorite holiday, Halloween. I made my own pattern to make this dress. The bodice is made of an orange satin and a black spiderweb lace. The skirt has five layers on it: one of the satin, three of orange tulle, and one of the lace. There is also a large orange ruffle on the bottom hem.
