I am a huge fan of the Evil Dead franchise as a whole, and my favorite character is Ash Williams. I bought the majority of the items for this costume from local thrift stores to minimize the cost. Afterwards, I took up the pants, ripped up the shirt, and used paint and water to give it a bloodied effect. The chainsaw was purchased from a Halloween store, and I built the hand cubby with EVA foam around the handle. After, I painted the chainsaw and a NERF gun to make it look accurate to the movie. Lastly I made the harness and holster out of old leather and leather scraps I had from other projects.
