AM 4037 is LSU's draping course. In this course, our first project was to design a garment that was made out of upcycled materials. The garment had to be made of 90% used materials.
My garment was made out of an old skirt, some left over fabric from previous projects, and Magic the Gathering cards. I folded the cards to give the skirt a unique shape and connected them with hot glue. I sewed the bodice to the skirt with a ribbon attached to the waistline, which also gave it more structure to support the heavy skirt.
